Aldebaran
1.700 € 26 H x 13 W x 13 D cm. This sculpture is made of mahogany and beech strips, precisely planed and glued together in a block; this kind of woods are hard so it was carved with ball cutter mounted to the rotary machine and then smoothed with different grain of sandpaper.On the transparent plexiglass base with the stick at the centre, the artwork can rest stably in two different positions. To protect the surface of the wood it was given danish oil and bees wax.
