€ 2550 72 H x 34 W x 19.3 D cm. This artwork is currently exhibit at Palazzo Gio' Imperiale, Genoa. Being able to get the best marble in Carrara is not easy, since there are so many deposits and saw mills that it is easy to get lost. Once I had tried to go to the quarry with the car, but on those streets the car grazes with trucks loaded with block of marble, so I changed idea. I usually get statuary marble in Carrara from the sculptors school. The whole surface is uniformly smooth and polished.
