Carrara statuario remain the best marble for sculpting, this piece I got in a sawmill in Carrara but I would like to get to the the quarry that is nearby on the hills, going in a not working day, at list there would not be track on the small road. The artwork base is in transparent plexiglass with the pivot that makes it to rotate. The whole surface is uniformly smooth and polished.
